A day spent with the Grandkids

Now that the school holidays are here, for the bafana bafana soccer, I have to keep my six grandchildren very busy because they tend to get very bored. The first week, we made some cupcakes, and the second week we went to the movies, and the third week they set up a session for my daughter and myself in our home, to have a manicure, pedicure, massages and facials.

It was such great fun, cos whatever products we had in the home was taken out and used to pamper us.

Kaylin soaked our feet in foot spas, and while we were soaking , she massaged our heads which was so nice and soothing. After the foot soaking she massaged our feet as it is done at the parlours. There I had red nails which did not look too bad. Our hands were soaked and massaged and silver nail polish was put on for me by my 7 year old granddaughter, Nicole! I wish you could see the outcome of that, but I just praised her for a job well done!

Jade 5, did the back massage. Here I was told to lay on my stomach, she sat on my back and started giving me karate chops, and I was asked if I'm enjoying it, I just had to say yes. She got up stood on my back and started walking on it. She told me this is the best way to do a massage. The wisdom of kids. I had to bare the pain and say I was enjoying it. At the end of the day it was nice of them to do it for us, and I'm sure they won't forget that moment. We all had a great time and tea (water) was served in dainty ceramic cups. What a blessing
